Eric Sines
Photographer
Born and raised in New York City, Eric Sines studied photography, filmmaking and video production at the San Francisco Art Institute and the California College of the Arts
After college he worked in television as an editor for KTVU in Oakland, California
In the late 1970s, he moved to Oregon and became a television news stringer, while also working as cinematographer and technical adviser on numerous commercial and independent film productions
As a still photographer his commercial, assignment and stock images have been used in national advertising campaigns, sales brochures, corporate catalogs, travel guides, calendars, books and websites
A partial list of corporate clients include: Sprint Telephone, Archer Daniels Midland, Best Western Hotels, Quality Inns, YMCA, GE Financial Corp, Port of Portland, IRS, U.S. Forest Service, Trial Lawyers of America, Oregon State Lottery, Bureau of Land Management
Over the last 45 years his editorial photographs have graced hundreds of national and regional magazine articles
Additionally his fine art photography has been shown in galleries and museums nationwide
Due to his extensive knowledge in these areas, he has testified in criminal court cases as a expert photographer
He currently runs Wild Dog Studios working in still and video. Recent video productions have included award winning films such as “Saving Our Forests”, “The Five Seasons”, and the series “A Horseman’s Journey"
